REVENGE

Revenge, aka retribution or vengeance, is a harmful action against a person with a view that the law will not do justice. People who are more vengeful are motivated by power by authority and by desire for status that they don't want to lose face.

When a person is wrong or does something wrong the first thought is of revenge. By infilting similar pain onto the person, it feels better. However seeking revenge doesn't cancel out the behaviours that hurt you but instead it just perpetuates the cycle of pain and the cycle continues.

It is just a normal reaction that leads the person pay what they have done to you and may become a heritage that passes from from generation to generation and the affected person gets compelled to retaliate against an offender to restore the balance of honor.

Revenge is actually a planning for a long term destruction of the life.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold"

"Before you embark on a journey of Revenge, dig two Graves."

Humans are not only the one who is known to take revenge, there are some species such as camel elephant fishes and primates that seeks revenge.

Instead of focusing on revenge it is beneficial to try to make peace with the issue and the only way to stop is to give up and accept it the way thing is and replace the evil feelings with the kindness and opposite thinking.

Living well is the best revenge that shows the other person that his negative action has not effective him.
Moreover taking revenge lowers the level of the person and become just as bad as the wrongdoer is and also consumes the person seeking it.

The best way to distance from the situation is time. What goes around, most definitely will come back around. Patience is a virtue in this situation. When it eventually comes back to haunt your other person you would have no part in it and you"ll have a clean conscious.
