Junk Food Indulgence Day
Prince L and I made a trip to the library today to return and borrow some new books. Usually a trip from carpark to the library takes me 3 mins (30seconds for DH), but this morning we took about 30mins, because we were exploring all the little things along the way.
We walked up and down the stairs several times, picked a few leaves on the ground, stopped by a water fountain,
and watched some cars driving by.
Once we were at the kids section in the library, Prince L decided all books needed some serious shuffling.
(Don't worry, I put them all back afterwards)
We got a few books out, which will be added to our bedtime story collection.
We met up with a friend of mine and her daughter at our local RSL for morning tea/lunch, as she had free vouchers to spend on food.
She got a bowl of chips and a banana milkshake/smoothie (split into two cups for the kids to share). And I ordered a chicken schnitzel panini to share as well.
But who would want chicken schnitzel, when there's chips around?
Prince L did not have a single bite of the panini, all he wanted was that bowl of chips (can't blame him though, cuz they sure do know how to do their chips right!)
He got to taste his first ever milkshake today. It was so sweet, so I only let him have two tiny sips.
Normally I wouldn't give him this kind of meal combo, but once in a while it's fine, especially when he's hanging out with others kids.
Prince L also got his face painted, and got a fishing rod balloon.
A little fish on his face to match his balloon.
It was a fun filled morning, Prince L was so tired that he did a 3 hour nap when we got home.
Thanks for reading! :)
