Just think of workplace relationships. I have had bosses who were leaders ready to roll up their sleeves and dive in to help out, and I have had bosses who were rulers ready to make demands and mete out penalties. I am free to quit jobs with bad bosses and sustain no draconian penalties. Does politics allow the same choice? No!
