Libertaria Roadmap has become available -- Huge amazing ambitious project in its infancy.
There are quite few projects that I've been really excited about, despite not being in total charge of them, Dash, PIVX, Steemit, wings and now there is another Libertaria.
Libertaria is the Brainchild of Marcus Maiwald, I met Marcus in April 2017 at a IOP/Fermat meetup in Budapest. Marcus is a stoic libertarian but more importantly than that he's an experienced and talented project manager and visionary. The thing that most impressed me about the IOP team was the strength of the devs, their ability to build outstanding software was impressive to me and all the other members of PIVX who attended that meetup, o much so that we employed Furszy a great mobile dev immediately. Furszy has built all of the PIVX mobile wallets and helped clean up parts of the code in the core PIVX wallet.
As a person Marcus is prepared wholeheartedly to follow his beliefs on decentralisation and personal freedoms regardless of the opposition from state or corporate actors, this type of bravery while being inadvisable at times is somewhat commendable. Putting this energy into a project like Libertaria which aims to build a decentralised new frontier is inspiring and exciting to me.
For me Libertaria is a bold project which will need some really talented devs to complete, but having met the likes of Wigy (libertarian/IOP dev) I'm certain that they have a team strong enough to complete the task. This is definitely a project to watch, for both its altruistic roots and goals and also the potential profits of finding a project which will have this amount of innovation this early. Daniel Roka's work on liquid governance is a game changer waiting to happen.... perhaps it will be implemented in some form during the development of libertaria?
The whitepaper was only released a few days ago, so it really is the ground floor.
Software and hardware inventions will be aplenty, and all open source world improving goodness.
