David Friedman on privatising the police
If you are averse to authority like I am, the saying 'all cops are bastards' might be something you uttered and believed as a teenager. I have the perfect video for those rascals that moved on intellectually but haven't lost appetite for punk politics.
David Friedman is the son of the famous Chicago boys economist Milton Friedman which won a nobel prize for reinvigorating the world’s faith in capitalism. David is just as liberty minded as his father and in his book Machinery of Freedom he makes the case for privatising the police force and effectively lawmaking. I wish I could upload the entire book into your brain but since it's not 2018 yet I recommend this animated summary:

5 people have the same amount of wealth as 3,750,000,000 people. We are taught that our prosperity is based on financial stability and somehow we think the world will be just fine when our financial system is totally collapsed.
I don't see what this has to do with anything that was discussed. I think we should privatize the creation of money and make taxes voluntary.
