It seems like liberals don't really like poor people. I mean they talk a big game about 'helping out those in need', (at everyone's expense of course) but they sure don't want to live next to them.
Back in the mid 1990s, I lived under a socialist provincial government in BC. They put in the highest minimum wage in Canada at the time. It was a job killer back then, and it’s a job killer now.
The rent in a city like Seattle is burdensome enough.
I think you can rent a cardboard box in Seattle for about $350.00 a month. The posh cardboard boxes with blankets over the top go for about $475.00.

Prices convey information. When prices are monkeyed with, they convey false information. And then the dislocations occur.
