RE: [VIDEO] Liam Neeson Did a Racist Oopsie! Will The Intertubes Forgive Him?
I watched the video and I believe you treat the situation fairly. But there is a mistake l believe even you make at one point in the video: equating thoughts with actions.
He had racist thoughts brought on by a murderous rage after the trauma of what happened to his friend. Walking around a certain location is an action, but not a harmful one. Walking around with such revenge-driven thoughts might be reckless, but it's still just walking around. That he would acknowledge these thoughts, feel ashamed, and repent demonstrates the kind of healthy resolution people have, when they are free and aren't persecuted for having the wrong kinds of thoughts.
Looks like you got cut off there. What is the mistake? I NEED TO KNOW!!! :)

Oh sure. I see how I might have conflated the two. Although, I do think he did act in a way that could have lead to what he was after. He was “looking for trouble” as it were, but I also agree that in the end it was mostly just unhealthy and irrational thinking. Neeson is an intelligent person, and his capacity for self reflection demonstrates that. Thanks for watching. I appreciate your feedback.
