LG may be involved in the development of a crypto-wallet, according to a patent application

in #lgcrypto5 years ago

The South Korean electronics corporation LG can develop its own cryptocurrency wallet, according to an application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Last week, LG applied for registration of the ThinQ Wallet trademark for several application scenarios, including "blockchain software platform", "mobile electronic wallet for cryptocurrencies" and "mobile phone payment application".

Currently, LG already uses the trademark "ThinQ" in its G7+ smartphone.

The company has been interested in blockchain's capabilities since at least 2017, when it worked on a financial platform using Corda software from the R3 consortium.

At the beginning of the year it became known that LG together with IBM and Ford intends to use technology to track cobalt deliveries.

Previously, its own smartphone with support for cryptocurrency wallet and decentralized applications introduced a competing corporation Samsung.

More and more big companies are involved in crypto, in future i think All companies will be in crypto.
