Power Rangers gets 18+ age restriction in Russia over inclusion of LGBT character
headdesk this is ridiculous, Russia has to be one of the most homophobic countries in the world
"WDSSPR, the Russian distributor of Power Rangers, informed cinemas on Friday that the film would have the highest possible age restrictions after hardline anti-gay legislator Vitaly Milonov suggested it should be banned.
Milonov singled out the film’s director Dean Israelite and compared the film to fascist ideology. “If fascist ideology is banned in our country, then [movies by] the likes of Dean Israelite should be banned first thing,” he said, according to the Hollywood Reporter.’."

Haha well yeah the trailer looks stupid. They aren't even power rangers, they are meta humans. They have super strength and jumping and all kinds of stupid shit. I'll wait for it to hit VoD just to see how Cranston is in it.
