POEM: Loving You Meant Letting You Go

Sometimes, the pathway to love isn't always straight...
Have you ever sat in silence and listened to the fight,
Between your head and your heart? I did...
Have you ever loved someone you knew could never have?

Did you continue to love them anyway? I did...
They always say to follow your heart..
As long as it makes you happy, go for it..
So what do you do when it leads you to a dead end?

Decisions are the hardest move to make,
Especially when it's a choice,
Between where you should be,
And where you want to be.

Ang sabi nila, gamitin ang puso para magmahal..
Gamitin ang isip para alagaan ang sarili..
Sometimes, you need to hold on to something,
Sometimes, you need to let go..

Sometimes, it's just hard to decide what to do..
Loving someone you can never have is heartbreak enough.
Seeing them with someone else,
Brings you terrible pain..

Sometimes, we just have to let go of the feelings,
For someone who matters most to us.
Not because we want to,
But because it's the right thing to do no matter how painful it is..

Sometimes, it really hurts to do something right.
Knowing what is best doesn't always mean it's the easiest.
As much as it pains me watching you go..
As much as you man to me and as much as i loved you..

I thank you for all the happy and sad times together,
And foe the joy you bring into my life.
I know that you only come into my life for a reason.
You came at the time when i was feeling so down and tired of myself being judged by others..

I needed someone.
I needed a friend.
You were there to cheer me up
Accept and understand me for who i am.

I tried so hard not to feel anything for you,
But i ended up having feelings for you anyway.
I knew this time would come,
I knew i would end up getting hurt.

So before you go away to the one you do belong.
Just want you to know how thankful I am fate brought you into my life.
I'm so glad we met,
And become good friends..

You deserve to be with someone who makes you more happy,
And doesn't complicate your life...
Someone who you have a future with..
I cry for the memories....

I cry for the pain...

I cry for the times i thought i had you there to stay.

Sometimes in a battle of love, one must surrender and give way..
No matter how much you love each other.
Sometimes, one must make a sacrifice and let go.
Even if it really hurts..

Sometimes, It's just letting go of that certain feeling that causing you so much pain..
So you can also move on with your life and just be happy.

Masakit kahit alam mong wala kang karapatanng masaktan.
Pero ang nararamdaman mo, nagkakaunawaan kayo.
Mahirap magmahal ng taong alam mong hindi naman talaga nakalaan para sa'yo.
Lalo pag dating ng panahon na kilangan mo na siyang bitawaan.
Masakit, pero wala kang magawa.
