I learned Jin Shin Jyutsu about a decade ago. I feel it as a tingling, like when a body part falls asleep, except that I can still feel with it, it just has like a buzzing around it. Others I know feel it as temperature, hot/cold (my cousin who does Reiki); or as magnetism, attraction/resistance (a cranial/sacral therapist I saw).
I think it's really neat that the "sixth sense" isn't something unknown -- it uses an existing pathway of sensation to make itself known. I also know someone who says they can see it, like ripples on a hot pavement or a mirage.
Upvoted! I haven't heard of Reiki before this post but for any healing I do tend to meditate while holding quartz and lighting incense! Very relaxing stuff. It's good to keep yourself centered.

I was attuned to Reiki 1 years ago by a lady in Australia via email! It worked. I am a practitioner of Integrated Energy Therapy which is like Reiki, brought through by a Reiki Master.
Watched a gifted Reiki Master heal my wife's migraine once. She is on here - @udbarflower.

My mother-in-law is a Reiki Master so yes, I have had a treatment :) Energy healing is powerful stuff!
That is super awesome!! My aunt @thereikiforest is also a Reiki Master and my Teacher :)
