Review of Bánh Canh Ghẹ Út Còi

Bánh canh ghẹ is different from any of the noodles I've had in Hanoi. The tapioca noodles are thick like udon and are very filling. The broth is thickened by corn starch and has a bit of sweetness. The broth has shrimp, slices of pork, crab, and quail eggs. Put them together and you have a hearty meal.

The fresh spring rolls were full of noodles, cilantro, and a couple of shrimp. The dipping sauce had ground beef in it and it went well with the spring rolls.

If you're gonna have bánh canh ghẹ, make sure you're hungry. Bánh Canh Ghẹ Út Còi is a small place with low tables and seats. Not super comfortable.
