Sayyed Nasrallah: Media Intimidation Doesn’t Shake A Hair on The Heads of Our Mujahedeen
Beirut- Hezbollah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that governments are misusing electronic armies in an effort to sway public opinion in a certain country.
In a televised speech broadcast during the central Ashura mourning ceremony hosted by Hezbollah, His Eminence warned that Gulf and other foreign embassies are paying tens of millions of dollars to media outlets to target Hezbollah by spreading false news and lies.
"They are paying money in exchange for spreading poison. They have gone beyond the realms of lying to provocation, insults, and slurs against Hezbollah," Sayyed Nasrallah stated. According to the Resistance leader, the measures being adopted against the group have no precedent in the last forty to fifty years.
"They adopt the policy of media pumping against us because there is one administration, which is a black room. And sometimes they send the same text to all media outlets,” he added.
Sayyed Nasrallah further explained that one of the methods to engage in this confrontation is to maintain credibility.
Moreover, he pointed out that "there was a period that passed when money was cut off from many media outlets and communication sites because they could not get the resistance environment to turn on it. But now they are giving them money because it’s a big and new battle."
In parallel, His Eminence called for the need to fortify the environment by confronting these campaigns and boycotting their architects.
"We must boycott these newspapers, radio stations, and websites," he stressed while calling for news to be scrutinized as one form of confrontation.
"Our policy of not responding to some articles, lies, and allegations and neglecting them helps in the face of pressures."
He also noted that the enemies resort to a policy of psychological and moral pressure to make us abandon the causes we sacrificed for, pointing out that "through our experience, we are proud that we belong to the school of Imam Hussein [PBUH] and his companions; they have always been our role models, and we wanted to be and aspire to be just like them in relying on God and making sacrifices."
Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah addressed the whole world by saying, "Neither intimidation nor murder can scare us because getting killed has become a habit for us, and our honor from God is martyrdom."
“There were days when we were few, and frustration did not affect us. How can it [affect] us now when we are many and strong?” Sayyed asked.
Hezbollah Secretary General went on to say: “We believe that God for 38 years has been with us, defended us, guided us, and gave us victory. As long as we are with Him and are ready to make sacrifices, God Almighty is our victor.”
"Everything that you hear in the media, including intimidation about normalization, ships, battleships and others, does not shake a hair from the head of one of our mujahedeen. As long as we are on our path with God, we are confident that God is with us."
His Eminence concluded by renewing the pledge: “We have not left you, O Hussein; since we were born and until we die or be killed, we will not leave you. This is our pledge and our commitment."
