Round 2!
A Second Goodbye to My Cousin.
So my cousin left today... again, exactly 20 days ago he left for the first time, but had to come back... And this is why and also what is going on:
My Cousin was called to go to the Ukraine for his mission, and was meant to leave on the 1st of April 2018... Unfortunately some things fell in front and he left several days after that.... But none the less he still went despite all of the nerves that he had, these nerves had first started when he realized that he won't be seeing us for at least 2 years!! He has always been a family social person and for lack of a better word, a mamma's boy... On the day that he left we all drove together to the MTC and dropped him off, the worst part about this was receiving one of the warmest hugs I have ever gotten, and as he let go of me... It hit me like a truck: My cousin, the one I can call my Brother, is going away for 2 years...
While he was at the MTC he started getting homesick and getting the worst feelings ever, "I felt like I was going away for ever and I wouldn't see you guys ever again" he said, we all had the greatest of faith in him and believed that he had the ability to endure through this tough trial that he had been preparing for his entire life. He had said many prayers and gotten the answers that he was looking for as well as unexpected answers that taught him to exercise faith.
Mosiah 27:14 -
14 And again, the angel said: Behold, the Lord hath heard the prayers of his people, and also the prayers of his servant, Alma, who is thy father; for he has prayed with much faith concerning thee that thou mightest be brought to the knowledge of the truth; therefore, for this purpose have I come to convince thee of the power and authority of God, that the prayers of his servants might be answered according to their faith.
Unfortunately after the 3 weeks of pain and missing his family... He came home, desperate for love from his family which was well deserved. He came home on Tuesday with a face of Disappointment in himself, he had thoughts running through his head, he had thought that he failed us, when in actual fact, he taught us an extremely valuable lesson, He had made the decision to go back on his mission, but he knew that he needed extra time to prepare. The Lesson he taught was that we should not give up in what we believe in, and I know that He has the ability to finish what he started, and I know that after 2 years, he is going to come home a different person, he is going to be a mature and independent young man. AND I KNOW THIS!!!!
Mark 16:15 -
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
One more thing, remember:
NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

When he is finally ready, he will be the best missionary out there. I am proud of him for being honest with himself.
Definitely, he is strong and I know that he has the ability to be the best in the field!
