Union Leader: 'GM Won't Close Plants Without One Hell Of A Fight'
General Motors layoff of over 17,000 workers is not going well.
Politicians in both the United States and Canada are upset about having to deal with the fallout of thousands of workers suddenly out of work due to plant closures. Three of the plants are scheduled to be taken off line in 2019.
President Trump was upset about GM's decision although he was warned over the Summer that auto tariffs would lead to a "smaller GM". Now it is here, the Administration is scrambling to salvage what are key swing states.
