Sitting with Brandon the other day he told me a Story of Friction. He had been out in the woods building a fire and had firmly planted a branch in the ground and leaned it against a tree. Upon turning away it promptly fell down. It lacked the friction to stick to the tree it was leaning on, and the weight caused it to fall. It struck him that life is much like that.... that no matter how firmly we plant ourselves, thinking we are good, friction is still necessary, as it provide an opportunity for Adhesion that can withstand the weight of Gravity. So when we got lost in the friction of what’s going on around us, it’s important to remember that we Need IT. It refined us. Helps us in our Choosen Action of Holding On or Letting Go. We are defined by what we Hokd On To. It becomes our Alignment.
