Example of lawlessness of animals
There's no law under which the youth have been empowered to manhandle dog meat sellers. This is an appalling case of intellectually empty folk trying to act smart. According to reports, a girl, Durba Paul by name, and her friends initiated the physical act of brutality. The Bengali perpetrators who took law into their own hands had committed the crime on the ground that the victims were selling animal meat for their living.
The case was widely condemned as a reprehensible incident of moral policing against the disenfranchised tribals by the tyrannical majority community. This story played out in the street of Silchar, in the Indian state of Assam.
Silchar, according to history, is a town founded by Captain Fisher (British), nearly two centuries ago, after seizing the grazing ground of the Nagas (tribals). Nagas were the only indigenous who were recorded by history to have resisted the entry of the British when the latter showed up in Silchar which then resembled a no man's land.
Today, the non-tribals beat the tribals in the street. They have an inexhaustible list of excuses. They can just frame and beat up the disenfranchised. Very unfortunate. The animals are everywhere. Don't eat their meat. If you don't want your unborn child fisted and kicked to death.
