Tell me if there is any special law to protect women's rights in your country and what is your opinion about that law?
We Bangladesh have various laws to protect women rights like Dowry Prohibition Act 1980, Pornography Control Act 2012, Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act 2003, Family Violence Prevention and Protection Act 2010, Acid Suppression Act 2002. Such laws for protection of girls in our Bangladesh. has
These laws have been enacted so that girls are not discriminated against and so that they do not have to suffer any kind of harassment in the society. Girls have been subjected to various types of harassment for ages in the male-dominated society, so the government has enacted laws to protect girls from these. It is not right that girls are being subjected to domestic violence as well. These laws are so that girls get the justice they deserve.
Compared to the cities of Bangladesh, the village girls have more status, so they are victims of family violence in various ways. Because they are tortured in many ways, they do not get the justice they deserve from many judges in the village. Therefore, the Bangladesh government has formulated these laws to protect women by considering all aspects.
Say if you consider that this law is effective and if it does not violate the principle of equality before the law for both men and women.
These laws for women should be enacted in every society, so that the women of the society can live with the rights of equality between men and men and form a beautiful society. Only if this law is enacted, the protection of women's rights will be ensured by respecting these laws of every person in the society and through public awareness activities.

From the list of crimes pointed out in class, say which ones you think are crimes of gender violence and which might be common crimes committed against a woman or women.
Below are what I consider to be crimes of gender violence from the list of offenses specified in the class.
Criminal activities based on gender discrimination such as sexual harassment, psychological violence, physical violence, workplace violence, dowry harassment etc. I think general violence is a crime. Because all these criminal activities are constantly happening in the country.
However, there are many crimes in the country that do not fall under gender discrimination, that is, they are not directly related to the protection of women's rights. For example, economic and family property transfer laws do not depend on gender violence against women.
You or someone close to you has been a victim of gender violence. What was the situation? Was the victim able to assert his rights? Do you consider that the law favors the victim?
Although various laws have been enacted for the protection of women in Bangladesh, those women are being oppressed in various ways. A girl was sexually harassed a few years ago in the neighboring area of our region. The girl was 17 years old and studying in high school.
The son of the dominant in that region almost proposed and disturbed her. But she would not agree to his proposal. Because the girl was talented and polite. But when the boy realizes that the girl doesn't care about him. They were sentenced to seven years imprisonment with hard labor under the Bangladesh Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act 2003.
Unfortunately at present most girls are victims of sexual harassment in our country. So the country should make laws as well as ensure public awareness.
Just then, the boy along with some of his friends kidnaps the girl and sexually harasses her. Later, the girl's family takes legal action and the boys are not given justice in the village.

- Practical cases 1.
A thief comes into a restaurant and subdues customers into handing over their belongings. A woman refuses to hand over her cell phone and her money, instead she confronts the thief, so he activates his firearm and shoots the aforementioned woman, resulting in her death.
Tell us if we are in the presence of a femicide or a homicide committed against a woman Give reasons for your answer.
The statement above states that the woman admitted not giving her personal property to the thief and the thief shot her dead. It is not female homicide but male homicide. Because there is no mention of violence against women. Here the law covers theft, robbery, murder etc. Here I think she deserves to be punished under the law of murder and robbery.
Practical cases 2.
After some time, a man starts insulting his wife by telling her that she is not worthy as a woman. He insulted her, did not allow her to work or go out, claiming that a woman is part of the house and cannot go out without her husband's consent. One day in the middle of an argument, the woman tried to respond to his insults and he beat her, bruising her face. .
Please state if we are witnessing a crime of gender violence or a general crime committed against a woman. Please explain your answer.
Here the law protecting women's rights has been opposed. Here women have not got their due rights. Besides, women are subjected to beatings and harassment which should be registered under the Prevention of Child and Women Abuse Act 2003 and Protection Act 2010. Aggrieved woman can claim her punishment and take legal action and seek divorce.

¡Saludos amigo!🤗
I also agree with you that gender discrimination is happening almost everywhere these days. Anyway, thank you very much for the nice comment.
