The World's Most Spoken Languages
Working as a graphic designer in Nat-Geo, Alberto Lucas Lopez visualized the languages most spoken in the world with a study.
There are 7102 languages currently living and active in the world, and this figure includes only what we know. Apart from that, there are many languages but we are not aware of all of them.
Looking at the schematic Lopez designed, it seems that the most spoken language is Chinese and dialects. The most widely spoken languages are Chinese and English. The research has also evaluated the most 'learned' languages in the world. There is English in the first place and the list is in French, Chinese and Spanish.
