However, a new study shows that a person who speaks more than one language fluently improves his brain memory and decision making skills.
Many scientists are reaching consensus that being multilingual benefits the brain. According to them that a person who is fluent in more than one language, he can switch tasks more quickly while for those monolingual people with dementia, the first signs appear at an average of 71 years but for bilingual people, the figure jumps to 76.
