How to learn a foreign language
As you know foreign languages are a window to the world. In this day and age, when there is a broader process of globalization, learning a foreign language is a necessity. Blurring the boundaries and barriers in movement between countries increases the demand for different types of language schools. Many companies are choosing to expand into foreign markets as well as more and more people are choosing to learn languages because of personal motives. This may be a desire to travel, learning another culture or the need for traveling to the work abroad. Undoubtedly, it is worth learning a foreign language. However, sometimes we have a lot of difficulty with this. In order to learn the language, we need to learn the proper preparation. Below you will find tips on learning foreign languages.
< 1 > Firstly, the most important thing is motivation.
Ask yourself why you want to learn a language? How is it going to help? Knowing your goal will put you in a better position to make it happen. Learning something without conviction is pointless because it would turn into a massacre. Imagine how you use the language, how it satisfies you. This allows you to learn the language faster.
< 2 > Always try to keep contact with the language you want to learn.
You don’t have to learn new words everyday or do all kinds of grammar exercises . It’s just that in order to get used to the new language, listen to songs and watch movies in a foreign language. Even if you do not understand a lot of things, some of them can be understood from the context. It’s good to listen to the correct form of speech and the right accent.
< 3 > How much talk in a foreign language.
Do not be afraid to make mistakes. No one learns new things without making mistakes. If you can not talk to someone in a foreign language, then instead talk to yourself. It’s important to talk in the language no matter what it is that you say. Say what is on your mind, or what you remember from the previous things that you learned. Recall items and activities. This method helps to develop language skills.
< 4 > It is worth investing in a good book for learning a foreign language, such as buying yourself a dictionary.
There are plenty of books , even for those who wish to be self-taught . You should get advice from someone experienced. Later, you can buy a book in a foreign language. A good solution is also flashcards with words or phrases . You can also invest in them. If you can’t buy them, you can make them yourself.
< 5 > Remember that the more time you spend learning, the more you learn.
Each activity brings results . Do not forget about the repetition of learned material . If the things you learn are not repeated, then you are likely to forget them. Repetition is the key to success. Develop the habit of systematic learning . This is very important in the learning of new languages.

If you had the choice between taking a pill and becoming fluent in a language you want to learn, or having the opportunity to spend 6 months living in a country that speaks the language you want to learn, which would you choose, and why?
Please, do not belive in any "magic pill". You need to work hard to learn the language. The more time you spend in foreign language environment, the more you learn.
Even if there was a "magic pill", I would not want to learn that way. I would rather have the experience of being a part of the culture, and learning the emotion and feelings behind the language than have perfect grammatical structure. Learning through daily life is the prize.
