Tiahuanacu, near La Paz, Bolivia

Tiahuanacu was inhabited possibly as early as 1500 BC, flourished from 300 BC to 300 AD and was abandoned in approx. 1000 AD, its sometimes considered the birth place of the Incas and where they honed their stone masonry skills.

What a amazing place, been looking up info and photos
on it for a number of years. Would love to see it in person!
Like stonehenge and many other places these layouts
of ancient sites. Beautiful photos @steve-d!
Must of been exhilarating to of been there!
