Sometimes the Burning Sunset Doesn't Appear and You Are Left with the Blues

Mweelrea is the highest mountain in Connaught. Here you see it from the mouth of the Inagh Valley in Co. Galway.

I was waiting for a glorious sunset, but it never happened. Instead, I got this very subtle image with gentle blues. I enjoy the way the clouds echo the shapes of the mountains. It's an image of serenity that I find calming and soothing. I think it also gives the viewer a sense of the expanse of the location.
