Banjosa Lake, Kashmir
Winter is like a wild animal. From a certain distance it seems beautiful, magical. But if you go near it, it bites the crap out of you. For a nature freak like me, winter is heavenly, even though my hands and feet swell up like crazy in winters but it's still worth it. The sub-zero temperatures, morning fogs, a break from annoying mosquitos and flies.
Banjosa lake is a not-so-big-but-beautiful artificial lake in Pakistani occupied Kashmir. Due to its high altitude the place remains cold throughout the year. The snow in winters makes it a thousand times more magical.
