Eine der sagenumwobensten Gestalten der englischen Geschichte ist wohl ohne Zweifel König Artus.

In zahlreichen Büchern und Filmen werden immer neue Variationen der Artussage dargeboten.

Dabei ist es höchst zweifelhaft , ob es jemals einen König namens Artus gegeben hat.

Wenn man in Cornwall ist, kann man sich jedoch auf Spurensuche begeben.

Tintagel Castle soll die Residenz dieses legendären Herrschers gewesen sein.

Wenn auch nicht mehr viel von der Burg übrig geblieben ist, die Landschaft ist herrlich und schon alleine deshalb lohnt ein Besuch.

One of the most legendary figures in English history is undoubtedly ** King Arthur.

In numerous books and films, new variations of the Arthurian legend are presented.

It is highly doubtful whether there ever was a king named Arthur.

But when you're in Cornwall, you can search for clues.

Tintagel Castle is said to have been the residence of this legendary ruler.

Although not much is left of the castle, the landscape is beautiful and therefore alone worth a visit.
