Walking among the dinosaurs
It’s pretty easy to imagine giant brontosaurus’ and t-Rex roaming around these gorgeous grass filled valleys. No wonder they shot the original Jurassic park near. The prehistoric landscape of Kaui Hawaii is shaped by volcanic activity and is straight out of this world.
If you ever get the chance to explore this magnificent island I would bring your best hiking shoes as there are countless hikes and ridges to discover. During the 12 days I was on Kaui we had hiked only 10 different routes.
There are plenty difficulties to choose from including hiking to the Jurassic park gates themselves..which is a 2 day hike that is on my list for my next Hawaii adventure!
