LaCie has just introduced its new super-fast Little Big Disk portable storage drive. Equipped with two 500GB PCIe Gen 2, the drive is built to fully utilize the speed of Thunderbolt 2 interface, offering up to 1375MB/s read and 1180MB/s write speeds. The Little Big Disk is designed by Neil Poulton. It comes with a large thermoregulated fan and two heat–dissipating aluminum plates for efficient and quiet cooling. The drive has two Thunderbolt 2 ports and supports daisy chain to up to 6 devices. It supports AES 256-bit software encryption and is compatible with Kensington lock.
