The Museum of lace. Vologda, Russia
The exposition of the Museum is located in the building of the city estate of the XIX century, which is an object of cultural heritage of Federal importance.
The main exposition is located on an area of 1 500 sq. m. and is devoted to the development of traditional arts and crafts of Vologda region and world trends in the development of lace from the end of XIX to the beginning of XXI century. The exposition is built in chronological order.
In the main gallery there are exhibits that reveal the following lace themes: "Lace in peasant costume and ethnographic textiles", "Lace products of 1920-1940", author's works of artists of the Association "snowflake".
