A Trip to Kutna Hora, Czech Republic, Europe
I went on a small trip to Kutná Hora, which is a city East of Prague, in the Central Bohemian region of Czech Republic.
!
I visited the famous Sedlec Ossuary which is an all Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints, a part of the former Sedlec Abbey in Sedlec.
I walked around the city and saw some famous sites like the following:
Saint Barbara's Church which is also referred as Cathedral of St. Barbara. It is one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and it is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Gothic Stone Fountain which is truly a picturesque polygonal fountain built in 1496. It is located out of the main site-seeing pathways.
Mincířská street which isn't actually a site-seeing location, but I found it very European and beautiful.
Kutná Hora is a very small city, hence all these sites are at a walkable distance from each other and you'll also find lots of cute cafes and bistros on your way. I had a cheese burger from Bistro Barborská located at Komenského nám. 22/15, Vnitřní Město, 284 01, right opposite the Chocolate Museum and chocolatarie.
Overall, I was in Kutná Hora for a few hours and the place did not fail to capture my awe :)
