I recently wrote a review for @kushsmokers on a some delicious Peppermint Cookies Hash Rosin from a company in Seattle; Polar Icetracts, and they noticed!

Now this generally isn't something to get excited about, sure a company noticed a review about a product they sell and commented or whatever, but the goal of #kushsmokers / @kushsmokers isn't just to blog about cannabis or write stuff anyone can write about smoking a doobie, it's about onboarding the entire cannabis community of earth onto Steem. And at first glance it make not look like such an important project, but take a second look and this time dig a bit deeper...

The more cannabis products, companies, news and culture we write about, the more users we make aware of Steem, because after all these articles are for people outside of Steem, who are interested in #cannabis. This is our top secret method to garner a large interest and point them all at one place, Steemit.com.

Now back to the hype of Polar Icetracts shouting us out on their 9k (been deleted a few times) Instagram account...

Now besides the fact they are one of the best processors in the state of Washington, they have a HUGE cult following (Instagram has deleted them in the past), and constantly compete in contests such as the Dope Cups and win, the most exciting thing for me is that they are appreciating our content... This proves that you don't have to own or run any large format blogs or magazines to write proper cannabis content, and thats what we hoped to find out. The companies and users don't care if the website is some insanely popular brand or not, as long as the content is on point. So in theory as long as we keep writing solid content and pushing it to the outside world, in time, Steem will be bigger than Facebook! It's simple arithmetic.
