The dog is outside the window

In the morning, I woke up to the familiar sound. It was a melody consisting of barking and scratching claws on the asphalt. I went to the window and saw her, a small mongrel with white—brown fur, running along the sidewalk without fatigue. She seemed to find her freedom in every movement, running around passersby, wagging her tail merrily.

The dog stopped and looked closely at a group of children playing in the yard. There was not only playfulness in her eyes, but also some deep wisdom. She seemed to understand that happiness lies in simple but sincere joys. One day, I noticed her running up to a street vendor who often sold ice cream. The dog immediately made a funny gesture, as if begging for a treat. The merchant smiled and threw her a small piece, and I watched with joy as she happily caught it on the fly.

But that day the dog looked especially thoughtful. She was sitting on the sidewalk, periodically raising her head, listening to the sounds of the city. Every time I saw her, I felt a sense of warmth and tenderness.
