Crypto Monitoring / Zigazoo: Here Come NFTs for Kids
The NFT market is constantly expanding—and the next target audience for tokenized digital collectibles could be young children. At least, that's the crowd that kid-centric social media app Zigazoo is betting on with its new NFT platform, which will feature major properties like YouTube sensation CoComelon.
Zigazoo revealed its full plans today (Apr.7) announcing an initiative to introduce NFT collectibles that help young people learn and better understand the technology via kid-friendly content. The platform will be hosted on Flow, the same blockchain platform behind NBA Top Shot and NFL All Day. Flow creator Dapper Labs is an investor in Zigazoo.
Moonbug Entertainment will bring the CoComelon, Blippi, and My Magic Pet Morphle video franchises to Zigazoo's NFT platform, starting with CoComelon. The CoComelon NFTs will feature main character JJ "in his signature outfits," according to a release.
All packs of NFTs on the Zigazoo platform will be sold at three rarity levels for $5.99, $19.99, and $49.99, respectively. Users can also customize their avatars on the platform, as well as create and share custom content based on their owned NFTs. They can trade NFTs with other users on the platform, as well.
Remember that publications should not be interpreted as financial advice, you should always do your own research and analysis before investing.
