This is very serious story.

유기견 입양 원하시는 분들 혹시 많으신가요?
Are you interested in adopting an abandoned dog?

요즘은 강아지보다 고양이가 더 인기가 많더라고요.
1인가족이 늘어나는 추세로, 아무래도 키우기 힘든 강아지보다 고양이를 선호하는 것 같습니다.
그래서인지 유기견센터에도 입양문의가 줄어들고 있습니다. 제가 다니는 곳도 마찬가지 입니다.
Nowadays, As the number of one family increases, cats are more popular than dogs.
Anyway, I agree to some degree that people prefer cats to dogs that are hard to grow.
So the adoption inquiry is also decreasing at the dog shelter which is the place that I have volunteered as well.

유기견 센터는 기본적으로 대형견이 많으며 다행히 미국, 캐나다, 호주 등 해외에서 입양을 신청하여 새주인을 찾기도 합니다. 하지만 그럼에도 버려지는 반려견의 수는 점점 늘고 있습니다.
There are many big dogs basically, and fortunately, There are some applying for adoption in the US, Canada, Australia, and so on. They are lucky guys to find new owners. However, the number of dogs still abandoned is increasing.

불쌍한 아이들위한 따듯한 보금자리, 좁디 좁은 철창 안에서 좀 더 넓은 곳으로 구조가 필요합니다. 제가 다니는 곳은 안락사를 시키지 않지만, 많은 유기견 센터에서 2~3년 후 주인을 찾지 못한 유기견을 안락사를 시키는 경우가 많다고 합니다.
A narrow, small and dirty cage... A warm house for poor dogs friend, really needs to rescue to a wider place above all to the new family who comforts wounded heart.
The dog shelter do not allow euthanasia where I go, but many dog shelter say they often euthanize dogs that did not find their new owners two or three years later.

제가 드리고 싶은 말씀은 유기견 입양입니다.
What I want to say is adoption.

개공장, 애완동물 가게, 인터넷에서... 쉽게, 충동적으로 반려견, 반려묘를 구매하는 행위는 줄어들어야 합니다. 너무 많은 아이들이 버려지고 또 구조되고 있기 때문입니다.
In dog factories, pet shops, and on the Internet ... We should be less likely to buy dogs or cats easily and impulsively. Too many our friends are being abandoned and also rescued.
We should quit this bad cycle.

우리와 같이 따듯한 심장을 지닌, 소중한 생명이 있는 그들의 처음에도 마지막에도 따듯한 가족의 품에서 함께했으면 하는 바람입니다.
Our friends having a warm heart and precious life like human
I sincerely hope they are being together at the beginning and at the end with the warm family.
