Investor Loses Over US$33,000 On Secondhand Ledger Wallet

in #kr7 years ago

In what appears to be a new kind of scam, one reddit user has posted he lost  £25000  (approx USD $33,800) by transferring his coins to a secondhand ledger.

It's left me feeling physically sick too!

This should be a stark warning to us all to keep security, passwords and processes first and foremost. Other than considering moving your hard earnt Crypto off exchanges as swiftly as possible there is a brilliant write up here.

I encourage everyone who hasn't already to have a read of this and get to work locking down your assets!! Like right now!!!

I’m a humanitarian free thinker, who writes, blogs, muses and debates the things I believe matter. All material is my own unless otherwise specified (in line with Steemit guidelines). Live links lead to targets I did not create.

I encourage others to write from the heart also, while always remembering in debate to always remain focused on the idea not the person, and that we can agree to disagree…  Don’t forget to follow me, there’s plenty of intellectually stimulating material coming up!
