PERPETRATORS OF ZINA UNDERWENT PUNISHMENT AT LHOKSEUMAWE ACEH MOSQUE

Three people accused of violating the rules of Islamic Shari'ah in Aceh underwent a caning sentence conducted in the yard of Islamic Center Mosque Lhokseumawe, Friday (08/09/2017).

Quoted from Antara, the execution of the cane (sanction) of the whip after Friday prayers was held to three defendants each on behalf of Muhajir (34), Mazidah (30) and Fakhrorraz (19), after a permanent legal decision from the Lhokseumawe Sharia Court.

Based on a copy of the judge's decision, Article 33 paragraph 1 Qanun Number 6 Year 2014 on Jinayat law and shari'a arguments, the accused Muhajir and Mazidah were sentenced to 100 times hudud whip in public.

Both have been proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing the finger (crime) as the first indictment, that is, adultery.

Muhajir is a resident of Lhokseumawe who works as a trader and Mazidah is a resident of Deli Serdang, North Sumatra who is a housewife.

Meanwhile, the defendant Fakrorrazi of North Aceh was sentenced to 107 canings, for legally and convincingly guilty of adultery. Fakhrorazzi should have been whipped 110 times, but his whipping sentence was reduced by three for being cut off by the defendants.

On the execution of the caning, thousands of people witnessed it. A number of security officers from the police as well as Satpol P and WH Kota Lhokseumawe arranged the execution process of the whip.

Implementation of caning punishment is done in turn. The first turn is Muhajir. On the count of the 12th whip, he was in pain until it was paused.
The punishment was continued again after being examined by a doctor. At the count of 45, again Muhajir bowed to endure pain. He just continued again until the count 100.

While the second turn, the whip punishment undertaken by Fakhrorazzi. The process of whipping continues to be undertaken by the defendant to the count of 77 times, pause. And resumed to count 107 times.

While against Mazidah, the position of the defendant is done by sitting. From the count of 1 to 100 times, Mazidah was able to serve the whip punishment that was swung by the executioner.
