Korean Words With Translation For K-Dramas Lovers

in #kr5 years ago (edited)

Hello, guys, I am back as I promise.

Now as I am also a K-drama fan! We know how fun it is to be able to watch Korean dramas and understand what’s going on without subtitles, so I am going to help make that happen.

Every day I will post three words, by which we all can understand.

Let’s get to it, shall we?

1. 너 미쳤어? – Are you crazy?

Pronunciation in Korean: neo michyeosseo

As this is one of the more rude Korean drama phrases that you will hear, be careful in real life as people will find you very rude if you say this phrase to them.

2. 미친놈 – Crazy guy

Pronunciation in Korean: michinnom

Often said under someone’s breath, this word is made up of 미친 (crazy) and 놈 which means ‘person’.

3. 오빠 – Older brother

Pronunciation in Korean: oppa

Watching dramas is a really great way to get the hang of the Korean pronouns and their proper usage.
