The sudden meeting of top Korean leaders

This is the second meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean leader Moon Zayen.

The leaders of the two countries met in the meeting to try to revive the possibility of a US-North Korean summit meeting, BBC said.

North Korean leader Kim was scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump on June 12 in Singapore. But Thursday the trump meeting was canceled. But later, there is still the chance of a meeting, he said.
In a statement, President Munir's office said two leaders met in the northern part of the ceasefire village of Panamunjom on Saturday between 3 pm and 5 pm local time.

The statement said, "Both leaders have exchanged views to succeed in the North Korean-US summit."

The statement said that Moon will announce the results of the meeting on Sunday morning.

In the discussions held at the proposed Trump-Kim meeting, the issues related to nuclear warfare and tension in the Korean Peninsula may be prominent.
After the announcement of the United States-North Korea talks canceled, North Korea said in solidarity that they are ready to talk to the United States at any time.

Responding to North Korea's conciliatory statement, the trump meeting indicated that it could be again.

He said, "They (North Korea) have a very nice statement. We will see what happens - this (meeting) can be done on June 12.

"We are talking to them now. They are very willing to meet. We would also like to do that. "
