Second Day.

(Two Morning View Pictures from the Ramada Hotel)

My wife and I woke up at around 10a.m..
It would be better to woke up earlier, but the room was a bit drier than we thought.
The night at the Ramada Hotel was satisfying enough except the low humidity.
Anyway, the first schedule for the day was eating brunch at Tofu restaurant.

Sokcho is famous for the Tofu village.
I am not sure how to spell the village in English.
In Korean, it is 학사평, and in English I think it is Hak sa pyung, or something like that.

I personally picked 대청마루, and it may be spelled as Dae chung ma ru.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the food, so I just put a coordinate I found on the Google map and the picture of the building.
The tofu soup was perfect, by the way.

The next stop was old Korean temple called Shin Heung Temple.
(https://www.google.com/maps/place/%EC%8B%A0%ED%9D%A5%EC%82%AC/@38.1858324,128.5116661,13.46z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x5fd8a2e02eebfe69:0xc49962241253618b!8m2!3d38.1758112!4d128.4846483?hl=ko)
It is located in right under the Seol ak Mt., and next to the Seol ak Cable Car station.
The weather was so cold on the day also, just like the first day, so I couldn't go up to the Seol ak Mt..
Maybe next time.

But the view of the temple was so fascinating enough.
The temple itself, and the view of the Seol ak Mt. from the temple aslo.
Here are some photos I took at the Shin Heung Temple.

The next pictures are for Sok cho beach.
Winter beach has its own beauty which people cannot see in summer.
The beach will be filled with people in that season, but the winter beach is so calming and peaceful.
EXCEPT THE COLD WIND.
If you are not familiar to the Korean Winter, then I suggest you go south.

The following pictures are for a CAFE I chose to take a break for the day, but I wouldn't recommend it for the resting place.
It does not have enough couches for the visitors.
But still, the view from the Cafe is good tho.

For some of you who may want to know why there is wire entanglement on the last two pictures, Sok cho is really close to the North Korea, so there were people who swam across the border before.
For the protection of the country, it still has entanglement on some areas.

Then, the second day of Sok cho is finished.
Not that many visitings due to the cold weather.
The last picture is what I ate at night.
Grilled fish, or what is left of the grilled fish once.
It was the best fish food I had ever tasted.
The place is 민석이네 삼형제.
It would be hard to pronounce, but the location is not far from Ramada Hotel.
There is a small market area right next to the Ramada Hotel.
I think it took less than 5 minutes to get there.
It has a small circled harbour and I just walked along the harbour.

Okay. This is the end of the second day journey in Sok cho.
I will post for the day soon.
