Just wanted to say hi (스팀잇 커뮤니티에 새로 가입하는 겸 인사드립니다)

A little introduction about myself... I was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in Novi, Michigan. I used to have a dream of becoming a pulitzer prize photojournalist during my high school years, but soon came to realize my ambition for fashion design. I wasn't sure of my identity as I pursued this new territory. I was lost for 2 years and found myself enrolling for the army. It was mandatory due to South Korea still being "at war" with North Korea. I thought it was going to be the worst 2 years of my life, but I met a friend that had majored in philosophy in the company I was dispatched to. We discussed a lot of the pros and cons of modern society. We would also discuss about aesthetics to help me find my identity as an artist. The conversations would sometimes extend for hours and before we realized it, it would be 24:00. These conversations really widened my understanding and views of art and artists' motivations. Upon being discharged from the military services, I am now working on further strengthening my philosophy behind my values as a human being and try to understand everyone around us.

안녕하세요! 가입 기념으로 간단한 인사를 드릴께요. 저는 서울에서 태어났고 아버지 사업을 넓히기 위해 Novi, Michigan으로 이사 갔어요. 학창 시절에는 사진저널리스트가 되는 것이 꿈이었고 퓰릿처 상도 언젠간 한번 받고싶었어요. 얼마 안가서 패션 디자인에 대한 제 욕심을 깨닳게 됬어요. 패션에 대해서 아무것도 몰랐지만 제가 갖고있는 비전만 믿고 아이덴티티를 찾으러 뛰처 들어가봤습니다. 한국 시민으로서 군대는 당연히 갔다왔죠. 군대에 가서 철학을 전공한 형과 친해지며 사화에대한 장점과 단점을 토론하며 미학에 대해서도 토론하다가 시간을 확인하면 24:00가 되어버렸더라고요. 이 수많은 토론과 대화들이 제 비전을 넓혀주며 아이덴티티를 찾는데 가장 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 저는 이제 주변에 수많은 사람들을 다 이해할려고하고 제 철학의 가치를 더욱 든든하게 만들려고 노력 중입니다.
