My experience in Turkey Part 1 (Exchange Student at Yildiz Technical University) - Prepare, Why i choose Turkey

Hi all.
Today, i will write about my experience during exchange student period in Turkey @ YTU.

In South Korea, Turkey is one of the best touristic place among people.
But, many University Students in Our Country hesitate to go Turkey for exchange students.
The reason is very simple. Our parents generation just think Turkey is a dangerous County....
When i planning to go Turkey and submit an applicant to the Yildiz Technical University, My parents were very amazed.
Because not, US, not Germany (The example of 'Good' Place to study according to my parents view, not me.. haha)

But i said to my parents that in the point of view of other countries, South Korea is even more dangerous because of North Korea. haha and even North Korea often did a Nuke Test, and shoot the missile.
Anyhow, i choose Turkey for some reasons.
In South Korea ( i think other far East Asian countries did so.), it is very rare to experience Islamic culture. And i think (also search a lot before i choose Turkey) its very fantastic to experience mixed culture (Asia and EU). And thanks to the South Korea's famous TV program, i can learn a lot of things about Turkey (There were special TV Program that diverse Countries' people discuss about some topics in Korean). And i'm very lucky that i could got a chance to learn Turkish before i go to exchange student. (Maybe i learn Turkish almost 6 month..)

My University in Turkey is Yildiz Technical University located in Istanbul.
In EU, there was a special program called Erasmus! At the first time i was really shocked that there were so many people (who were not Turkish) come to this University and hang out together.

Its really really special experience for me. And Istanbul is the best city that i ever experienced.
There was a mixture of calm and loud, Amazing and shocked.
At first its bit hard to adjust in there because of the food, language, all the things. But my buddy and my friends that i met during the Exchange students meeting (ESN) really help me a lot.

I met a very nice German ladies and Spanish Guy and a lot of very kind Turkish friends.
although our culture background is pretty much different, but we try to understand each other, and exchange our cultures.
Its one of my best experience until now.

Although after i started to work, i couldn't contact frequently with my friends, i try to contact them with whatsapp, skype so on. And felt really sorry that i couldn't contact them much.

Next post, i will insert some images that i took during exchange students period, and write something special or something sad(?) or unhappy.
