그 규칙은 당신에게 적용되지 않아요 (Rules Don't Apply)

감상평:
영화 속 등장인물 하워드 휴즈의 엉뚱하고 종잡을 수 없는 기행처럼 영화도 중구난방으로 흐르고 마지막에 릴리 콜린스가 부른 이 노래밖에 안 남았다.

1950년대 할리우드를 실감나게 재연한 분위기는 꽤 맘에 들었지만 워렌 비티가 오랜만에 감독이자 배우로 컴백한 작품이라고 해서 나름 기대했었는데 그냥 이도저도 아닌 영화였다. 분명 훨씬 더 잘 만들 수 있었을텐데 ㅠㅠ

그래도 릴리 콜린스의 아름다운 모습과 예쁜 노래를 건질 수 있어서 다행.

참고로 영화 속에 등장하는 억만장자 하워드 휴즈는 실존 인물이었고 마블과 어벤저스의 토니 스타크가 이 사람을 모델로 해서 만들어졌다. 물론 이 영화에 나오는 에피소드는 픽션이다.
하워드 휴즈의 실제 삶이 궁금하면 레오나르도 디카프리오와 마틴 스콜시지가 만든 "에비에이터"를 보는 것을 추천한다.
