KStarCoin ICO: Korea's New Innovative Platform where K-Pop and its fans meet!
On March 29th, global Hallyu contents platform KStarLive announced their new cryptocurrency, KStarCoin.
KStarLive is a Facebook-based Hallyu contents platform. They deliver news related to K-stars, including K-pop and K-drama, in English to fans all around the world. Currently, KStarLive is the top Hallyu-related Facebook Page in terms of the number of subscribers. They currently have more than 8.36 million users from the Philippines, Indonesia, America, and more.
KStarCoin is an Ethereum-based token, developed by KStarLive. KStarCoin can be obtained from KStarLive’s fan community, exchanges, and peer-to-peer transactions.
The vision of KStarCoin is to become a solution for the payment barriers that Hallyu fans all around the world currently face. Domestic fans could purchase concert tickets through crowdfunding. International fans could also have their favorite Hallyu stars hold concerts and/or fan meetings in their own countries.
KStarCoin will also enable fans to easily send birthday/supporting gifts and food or coffee trucks to their favorite stars. Apart from concerts, with KStarCoin, fans will also be able to purchase Korean goods such as cosmetics, fashion items, and more.

KStarLive will be opening the 1st pre-sale of KStarCoin, gathering global investors, starting from this April. During the 1st pre-sale, an additional 25% bonus will be given for every KStarCoin purchased. They plan to start the cryptocurrency exchange in the first half of 2018.
