글을 읽으실 시간이 없으신분들을 위해 결론부터 말씀드리자면, 구글 익스텐션에서 "Invisible Hand"를 설치하시면 가격비교와 더 저렴한 가격을 얻으실수 있습니다(아직은 미국,영국,독일만 지원한다고하네요).

한국에 계신분들은 간단히 말씀드리자면 cookie를 삭제하고 난후에 상품을 보면 가격이 내려가있을 가능성이 높습니다. 자주검색한 또는 구매한 물품일수록 그럴 가능성이 높구요. 특히나 비행기표 같은경우에 바뀌는 경우가 많습니다. 특히 다른데서 보고와서 집에와서 들어가봤더니 가격이 바뀌어 있는 경우는 100프롭니다.

If you are highly time-sensitive, you can use Chrome or Safari or Firefox as shopping online. But Keep in mind. Use extension called "Invisible Hand" which will give you price comparison and lowest prices(This way is only applied to those who are in USA, UK and Germany). But I will talk about a way to be used for people in other countries at the end of this article.

거두절미하고 본론으로 들어가서, 범인은 쿠키(Cookie)라는 놈 때문입니다. 사실 쿠키는 우리가 인터넷을 사용함에 있어서 아주 편리하게 해주는 녀석인데요. 쿠키에 있는 정보를 통해 좀 더 쉽고 빠르게 웹싸이트에 접속할수 있게끔 해줍니다. 예를 들어서, 로그인창 근처에보면 "아이디/비밀번호 기억하기"에 체크하게끔 되어있잖아요? 그게 사실 쿠키에 내 정보를 저장하겠다는 말입니다.

This guy is like a devil and an angel at the same time becuase it's showing a higher price than others based on information in your cookie(It's like an angel to business owner). In fact, the cookie is intended to help people access to websites faster and easier. For example, you've probably seen "Remember me" on websites and are able to tick a checkbox next to it. Once you check it, that would mean that you want to store your username and password in the cookie.

이렇듯 우리를 편리하게 해주는 쿠키가 쇼핑몰에서는 조금 다른 이유로도 쓰이기도 합니다. 간단히 설명을 해볼게요.

컴퓨터를 종료하고 다시 켜더라도 쿠키는 내 브라우저에 저장되어 있기때문에 다시 쿠키를 읽어서 가격을 만들어내죠(참고로 이 과정은 웹싸이트가 모니터에 표시되기전에 이루어 지기때문에 원래 가격이 그랬던것처럼 소비자 입장에서는 보입니다). 네 뭔가 사기 같고 말이 안된다고 생각하실지 모르겠습니다. 하지만 전혀 법적으로 문제가 없고, 물건을 파는 싸이트라면 모두 이런 시스템을 가지고 있다고 보시면됩니다.
Even though turning off and on your computer, the website still reads cookies from a web browser, which means that it actually shows you modified price(higher price). Furthermore, reading cookie is a underlying process that happens before displaying the website on your monitor. From your view, the price looks unmodified or original price which is NOT!!
I know it looks kind of scam or fraud but it is perfectly no problem legally and prevails all over the world.

한국에 계신분들중 미국싸이트에서 해외직구로 자주 사시는분들께는 도움이 될 수 있겠네요. 그렇지 않고 한국 쇼핑몰 또는 비행기표 구매하실때 꼭 cookie를 지우고 구매하시는걸 추천 드립니다. 자주 지워주시는게 좋습니다. 쿠키지우면 비밀번호 저장 해놨던거나 그런것들이 지워질수있으니 자주쓰지 않는 브라우져로 하시면 되겠습니다.

So!! How do I go shopping online smarter and cheaper ?

1. Use Google Chrome(It also supports Safari, Firefox)
2. Install "Invisible Hand" extension(USA, UK and Germany)
3. Delete cookie(This might be used for those who are in other countries)
   • Open browser that you don't use frequently
   • You're getting the unmodified price(lower price).
4. Go shopping

In this instruction, I will be using only Google Chrome. Installing can be done with a few clicks like below.

1. Deleting cookie (쿠키 지우기)

You can find three dots on the right-hand side of Google Chrome.
크롬에 오른 위쪽에 3개 점으로된 아이콘 클릭후 셋팅 클릭.

Advanced button is found on the bottom.
고급 버튼 제일 아래에서 찾을수 있습니다.

You can simply follow the order.

2. Installing "Invisible Hand" (인비져블 핸드 설치하기)

Once it is installed, you're ready to go shopping. Next show you how easy it is.

It just found the same one but cheaper than the one in amazon. About $12 less.

It also gives you coupons available in the website.
