[Science]New Atom?! -한국어/English

Hiii All. Today, i will just wrote about my short story related to Chemistry (New Atom)
안녕하세요. 오늘 저는 화학 (특히 새 원소)에 대해서 이야기를 적어볼까 합니다.

When i submit the application and went to the interview for entering the university, dean of the Chemistry department asked my why i want to study chemistry.
제가 대학교에 지원해서 면접을 보러 갔을 때, 당시 화학과 학장님께서는 저에게 왜 화학을 전공하고 싶냐고 물어보셨습니다.
At that time, i had a passion to study chemistry. i don't know but really studying chemistry is really really happy and interesting at that time :)
그때 저는 화학에 대한 열정이 매우 넘치던 학생이었었어요..ㅎㅎ 잘은 모르겠지만 그냥 화학을 공부하는게 너무 즐겁고 흥미가 있었었어요.

So, my answer was like this. "I heard a lot of atoms named by scientists and they put their nationality into the new atoms name. For example, Polonium was named by Poland scientist, Germanium was named by German scientist and Americium was named by American scientists. And my dream in chemistry field is make Koreansium!!!! "
그래서 저는 화학과 학장님께 이렇게 말했습니다. "새로운 원소중에는 많은 과학자들이 자신의 국가를 나타내는 이름을 붙였다고 들었습니다. 예를 들어 폴로늄은 폴란드 과학자가, 게르마늄은 독일 과학자가, 그리고 아메리슘은 미국과학자가. 이렇게요. 그리고 제 꿈은 코리안슘!!을 만드는 겁니다" 라는 말도 안되는 말을 했었죠..ㅋㅋㅋ

It was very ridiculous answer. But, i still don't know what, many professor clap their hands and even dean of the Chemistry department came to me and shake my hands and said "Welcome to Chemistry world!"
이건 매우 말도 안되는 말이었지만, 왜그런지 모르겠지만 그때당시의 많은 교수님들이 박수를 치시고 심지어 화학과 학장님께서는 저에게 다가와서 악수를 건내시면서 "우리학교 화학과에 온걸 환영하네" 하고 말씀하셨죠..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Although it was almost 8 years before that i replied like that, but still sometimes that memory makes me laugh.
비록 지금 이렇게 대답한 일이 있은지 거의 8년이 지났지만, 아직도 가끔씩 기억이 나서 저를 웃게 만드네요 ㅎㅎ

But on 2016! really really amazing news released. Japanese scientists develop New Atom and they named "Nihonium"
Some people think this news was just same as the other news, but not for me..
하지만 2016년에 저는 매우 놀라운 뉴스를 보았습니다. 일본 과학자들이 수년간의 노력을 통해 새로운 원소를 합성하였고, 그것을 "니호니움"이라고 명명한 것입니다.
이건 비록 다른사람들에게는 그저 똑같은 다른 뉴스였을지도 모르겠지만 저에겐 달랐습니다..

I feel bit strange and bit sad that my passion for chemistry was nothing left. And just a worker.. haha :)
저는 매우 이상한 느낌과함께 슬픈 느낌을 받았었습니다. 왜냐하면 현재 저의 모습은 화학의 대한 열정도 없고, 그저 그냥직장인일 뿐이니깐요..ㅋㅋ

Although my past dream that make Koreansium seems very difficult to achieve, but hope that someday will make Koreansium and make our country's people be proud.
비록 제 과거의 패기있던 꿈인 코리안슘은 제가 이룰 수 없는 목표가 되어버렸지만, 언젠간 한국에서 훌륭한 과학자가 코리안슘을 합성하여 대한민국에 자랑스러움을 안겨주었으면 좋겠습니다.
