I totally dig this. I have come to love Korean food. You are making me hungry with your Korean dishes haha! There is one particular restaurant here where I like their kimchi the most and I buy from them if I have the chance. However, my sister makes her own version of kimchi. When she does we have readily available kimchi for kimchi soup, kimchi rice, kimchi egg or kimchi chicken lol!

Haha! I am not sure how it is called but we fry chicken and add kimchi and vegetables like Baguio beans, potatoes and carrots. That is what we call kimchi chicken lol! No, my sister is not Korean. She just likes making her own version of kimchi.
Korean culture has a big influence to us.
In Korea, many people eat various fusion food with kimchi, maybe your sister food seems to be one of them^^ I think it is healthy for a lot of vegetables!! I'm already familiar with many of your Korean dishes. There are lots of Korean restaurants here run by Koreans. I like their buffet the most because it's fulfilling and price friendly.

I'll try to visit as often as I can when I can. It's no surprise that Korean food is accepted by others because it appeals to their taste just like any other cuisine.
