Highschoolgirls und Marijuana erzählt die Geschichte des jungen Quinn, der mit seinen Eltern zusammen in der Vorstadt wohnt. Soweit, so normal. Weniger normal ist die Tatsache, dass Quinns Eltern Neu-Hippies sind, die in ihrem Haus eine Marijuana-Plantage besitzen und dass Quinn, Zeit seines Lebens von seinen fürsorglichen Eltern zuhause unterrichtet wurde. Quinn sehnt sich nach einem normalen Leben, und als seine neue Nachbarin, Crystal, sich als das Mädchen seiner Träume entpuppt, fasst Quinn den Entschluss, aus seinem bisherigen Leben auszubrechen. Zum ersten Mal in seinem Leben rebelliert Quinn gegen seine Eltern und besucht die örtliche Highschool. Doch bald schon muss Quinn feststellen, dass der wirkliche Dschungel nicht im Wohnzimmer seiner Eltern ist, sondern da draußen. In einer Welt, in der Vorstadtideale und die Werte der biederen Gesellschaft vorherrschen, kann nur noch eines helfen.
