The Turkish Armed Forces participated in the Korean War, sending approximately 15,000 soldiers, who played an influential role in key phases of the war.Turkish soldiers took part in various fronts throughout the Korean War and fought with courage and determination even in the most difficult periods of the war. Especially in the Battle of Kunuri, the Turkish Brigade stopped the Chinese attack and bought the United Nations forces a significant amount of time.There are many stories of heroism among the Turkish soldiers who participated in the Korean War.
