North Korean men are looking for a mate: high-value color, High Education, and a knack for Kimchi

During our trip to North Korea, our regiment had two guides. The female guide is Li, the male guide is the director. Li is 20 years old and Kim is thirty-two. Neither of the tour guides were married, and the men were beautiful, and the tourists in the group joked that Li and Kim were perfect for each other.

But Li was disgusted, and we explained that North Korean girls rarely marry men six years older than themselves. North Koreans usually marry later, because they have to contribute to their country after college before they consider their marriage.

Our male guide, Kim, also introduced us to a lot of North Korean customs. He said North Korean men have a lot to ask for when looking for a mate. North Korean men tend to look at each other before they get married, how they look to their parents, how well educated they are. North Korean men prefer girls with good looks and high education.

In addition, when a North Korean man is looking for a mate, she is usually required to make Kimchi. If both parties are satisfied, the man will write the offer and the woman will write the letter. After the North Koreans get married, the man can apply to the unit for housing, and when he gets married, he can only get a small house, but when he has a child, he can get a bigger house.

Because of the lack of family planning, North Koreans usually have more than one child when they get married. Because of the TRỌNG NAM Khinh nữ mentality in North Korea, many families want a son. It's a bit like our past. Nowadays, North Koreans marry, and most of them are blind dates, except for free love. Even a free-loving couple who wants to get married needs their parents'permission.
