I am begging anyone reading these words to pay attention.

I don’t care what your position on various trans related public policy is: identifying trans people as “not a legitimate category of being” is a precursor to slaughter.

I am begging you, regardless of political or religious inclination, to defend the humanity of trans people.

I know that there is much daily news that vies for our attention, but I am urging you to believe that this is a five alarm fire.
