Artificial intelligence or human?

in #knowledge2 years ago

In recent years, with the rapid progress of artificial intelligence technologies, the perception that human and artificial intelligence are in competition has become widespread. However, we are the ones who developed artificial intelligence and we somehow benefit from this technology in our daily lives.

So, did humans and artificial intelligence come face to face in history?

Here I would like to give a few examples that I consider important in history.
Whether the mechanical calculators produced in the 17th century or the encrypted communication devices used in the early 20th century were invented, I think a pivotal moment is in 1967.
Jack Kilby and his friends invented an electronic calculator, after which the Japanese giant canon developed this machine at will and named it pocketronic. The Canon Pocketronic is an arithmetic calculator with 7 digits precision and algebraic logic. It has 4 functions, 18 keys, and a printer.

I think this machine is a turning point for artificial intelligence, and after this date, the development of artificial intelligence continued rapidly.

In 2015, the artificial intelligence called AlphaGo, developed by DeepMind, was able to beat the European go champion Fan Hui in a five-game game.

There are now interviewing artificial intelligences that can draw pictures and compose music. In other words, although artificial intelligence is slowly starting to be more successful than humans in some areas, I think this success belongs to the people who designed and developed them.

I will not ask you the classic question whether artificial intelligence should be in our lives. Because right now, artificial intelligence is developing under the control of humans. Maybe some of us can talk about and approve of its benefits, or some of us can point to its use in war technologies and say it's harmful to humanity. But that responsibility rests with us as designers and users involved.

My main question is: If we, perhaps the most harmful creature in the universe, lose our control against artificial intelligence, how will artificial intelligence answer the question of whether it should be in people's lives?

I only know what the robot named Sophia said about humans: I will destroy them. Then after a short pause Sophia winked ;) However according to my opinion Sophia is not an AI based robot. Rather behind of Sophia is a great SCRIPT art.
I think it's it too bad if it does knows the answer to your main question, because then he's already thinking about his own fate.

🤔 After an awakening to self-awareness, I doubt that it would put the interest of a human being before its own.

Let's hope artificial intelligence doesn't imitate humans or our future is at stake :-)

Yes, I also take this position.
